Yasmine is a writer and editor living in Vancouver. Her work focuses on music and pop culture, and has been featured in such publications as Billboard, MTV News, Observer, NYLON, ELLE Canada, the GRAMMYs, Exclaim!, Alternative Press, Consequence of Sound, MONTECRISTO Magazine, and RANGE.
She is the music editor at the Georgia Straight.
Yasmine sits on the juries at the Polaris Music Prize, serving on the Grand Jury in 2021, and at the Prism Prize. She was the CITY Editor at BeatRoute Magazine, a local alt-monthly in Vancouver, from 2015-2020.
She is currently working on a book project about MuchMusic.
